You can build a homemade wind generator. Use wind to power a motor and generate enough electricity to light. Using small wind turbines to generate energy we help as to living with nature.
1. Wind Power for Homes: How To Use Wind Power At Home Today
The renewable energy revolution means wind power for homes is now within reach! Learn how to use wind power at home – it is easier than you think!
How To Use Wind Power At Home Today
Wind turbines can be an excellent way of producing clean, renewable energy on a mass scale, provided it is located in a windy area.
The wind turbine is attached to a tower, which rises 100ft above the ground to take advantage of the faster wind speeds at higher altitudes.
Because these turbines are tall, the area they take up is mostly high up, which means that the ground area they use is notably small. This remaining space can ..

2. 5 Uses of Wind Energy to Power Your Home
Wind power produces zero emissions, and is, therefore one of the cleanest energy sources.
Residential wind power can take different forms; if the conditions are right
for a larger turbine, a home could potentially get most (or all) of its energy from the wind.
However, you don’t have to go completely “off-grid” with wind power. Residential wind turbines may work as supplemental power sources.
They can lower a home’s dependence on the grid, and therefore reduce energy consumption.
Property owners may also be able to use wind-powered devices for other uses.
For example, farmers and ranchers can use a turbine to pump water from a well, to charge batteries that then power machinery, or to provide lighting and heat to non-grid-connected buildings.

Considering residential wind power for energy self-sufficiency?
Find out whether a home wind turbine is right for you.
If you live in a residential neighborhood, be certain code restrictions do not prohibit turbines.
So maybe you’re thinking you want to generate your own electricity, and home wind power has crossed your mind. After all, who really enjoys paying a utility bill? Small wind energy is renewable, non-polluting, and, in the right circumstances, can save you money.
But is home wind power a good choice for you? The answer may surprise you, because ..

6. Wind Generator With Car Alternator
By Joalex Henry in Workshop
A few years ago to build a wind generator, with which wanted to charge a battery to power a refrigerator and a radio in my small farm, where there is no electricity supply.
I applied it an automobile alternator, but this component was not a good choice, because a small wind turbine can never have enough strength to rotate the alternator, which is very heavy when producing energy.
The solution may be to apply a generator that is light and produce power at low revs. The machine was built with recycled scrap materials, but it is very safe and can handle high winds.
Watch the video with the machine running, and if you like, subscribe to my Youtube channel. Thank you!

7. How I Built an Electricity Producing Wind Turbine
Several years ago I bought some remote property in Arizona.
I am an astronomer and wanted a place to practice my hobby far away from the terrible light pollution found near cities of any real size.
I found a great piece of property. The problem is, it’s so remote that there is no electric service available.
That’s not really a problem.
No electricity equals no light pollution. However, it would be nice to have at least a little electricity, since so much of life in the 21st century is dependent on it.
One thing I noticed right away about my property is that most of the time, the wind is blowing.
Almost from the moment I bought it, I had the idea of putting up a wind turbine and making some electricity, and later adding some solar panels. This is the story of how I did it.
Not with an expensive, store-bought turbine, but with a home-built one that cost hardly anything. If you have some fabricating skills and some electronic know-how, you can build one too.
